Truly the most iconic studio in Budapest, located in the city center. It was built in 1951 initiated by
Zoltán Kodály. Owned by Hungarian state record label “HUNGAROTON”, the studio hosted some of the
most significant recordings in Europe. All the big composers and musicians recorded their composition
at the Rottenbiller studio, which is the “Abbey Road” of Budapest.
After 70 years, the studio became the property of Budapest Scoring and it’s now the center of scoring
sessions in Budapest.
